Lazy Sunday

Did not manage to go swim, in this kind of weather. Been raining since like 1pm+ and never stopped until like in the late afternoon. Met Web later than usual at 3.45pm coz have to wait for the damn heavy downpour to simmer abit. Still went to AMK but hanged around after playing pool. Had dinner at a newly opened steamboat place above the Four Seasons Emporium (erm, the old Emporium - cun remember the name). We were not too hungry thus did not eat much. The place is quite ok, cheap but quite small. However, the porridge base we chose wasn't that fantastic coz seriously I dun see much porridge, mainly soup. I thought porridge steamboat has really solid rice grains in it... maybe this is different?

Anyway walked around AMK central a few rounds to aid our digestions and settled down at MOS burger for a drink, some chat and played a game of chinese chess and dumb. Its been years since we last played and we did quite badly. I lost in both games though... have to brush up abit soon! Also brought along UNO but din get to play, maybe next round. If the weather gets better, we could end up playing such games at East Coast quite often. Well, at least something to keep us occupied, and squeeze some brain juice!
