Stressed out...

Its been dunno how long ago since I last watch Taiwan serials on youtube, which was one of my pastime favourites. I am still on 3 serials but ever since my wedding about 2 mths back, I haven't had the chance or mood to start loading them to watch. Time is always not enough for me now, dunno why. Still trying to get use to my new lifestyle but well, its not going to be smooth so soon...

Recently kept having headaches and gone to see doctor last Friday, after back from shopping with sis. My blood pressure was quite badly higher than normal and I think it attributed to stress these days, on top on other factors (genes, lack of exercise, too much salt and probably obesity). I know this will happen as I have been extremely stressed out not only by work (most of it is the stupid boss) but also my new lifestyle. I have been very kanjiong these days, chasing after LRT trains, MRT trains and even buses so I would not miss any to save time. I have to learn to take it easy now and watch my diet so my blood pressure dun rise. Still need to monitor for a couple of times b4 a full diagnosis could be done. Hope for the best...

Finally went to Giant (at Vivocity) yesterday and purchased groceries and daily necessities and had them arranged to deliver this morning. Last week went to the one at Parkway Parade but realised the minimum purchase is $200 and above, and only the Vivocity branch is $100 and above. Wasted trip as we dun have confidence to buy that much at one go. Finally managed to get enough drinks to last for a while and lost of bulky items like detergent, toilet papers and tissue papers. At least as and when if we go NTUC where some stuff are much cheaper, we dun have to carry until like siao...

Boring Sunday today as we only went out for while to AMK and came back ard 7pm+ as Web wasn't feeling well and its been raining on and off since late afternoon.

Short recap

Its been quite a while since I last blogged. Just couldn't find the mood... hahaha... too addicted to Facebook!

Just realised my blood pressure is going up, can feel it coz I have been rushing to and from work almost eveyday - running to catch the LRT, train or bus... Decided to better take it easy so walked extremely slow, no chasing of public transport and reached office 8.45am today! Dun care liao la, else like that damn stressed! No brekkie today coz dunno why not hungry and no mood...

Met up with Hui and her sisters to discuss on her wedding stuff but ended up we talked nonsense most of the time over dinner. Was at Mr Bean opposite Parklane and the service really sucks, even though the food was ok. Finally ended the night at ard 10.30pm+ as we parted. Me and Angeline then ran across the road and ran to catch the oncoming bus. Was panting when boarded and lucky to get seats after a few stops. Alighted at Potong Pasir and took a cab home.

Met Xris 1st b4 meeting the rest as we were the earliest thus shopped around PS. After abit of browsing, we actually bought clothing each, me a blouse and Xris a skirt. Hui joined us subsequently as we went to Spotlight and Daiso b4 meeting the rest.

Was dead tired by the time I got home, barely watching abit TV and surfed abit then hit the bed. Woke up feeling tired as usual but more or less used to it. That's my life now...

Shopping at Ikea

Finally went to Ikea last Saturday and got the stuff we need. Been wanting to go since dunno when but couldn't find time and almost cun make it again as Web had issues in the afternoon. We went out at ard 6.30pm and reached Ikea b4 7pm. Took bus 27 from about 2 bus stops away and the journey is barely 15 mins, provided there's no traffic jam.

Wanted to have dinner b4 going Ikea coz anticipated the restaurant will be damn crowded but its the same at the coffeeshop downstairs so we had hotdog buns and curry puff at the Ikea cafe b4 starting our shopping. Took us almost 2 hrs+ to get what we want and after picking up the stuff, paid up and arranged for delivery, we left for home. Cooked maggie mee for dinner cum supper as its already 10pm+ when we left Ikea. Ikea is now opened till 11pm on weekends until 8 Feb 08.

We bought quite a no. of things like CD towers, bookshelf, swivel chairs, storage boxes and glass cabinets. Supposed to get one more TV rack but as we changed the item, I missed it when we picked the stuff coz its written way below... Probably will get it somewhere else coz the one at Ikea looks abit obiang anyway!
