Updates updates...

Its yet another working week and it started off with a wet morning. It just started drizzling as I got to the place to wait for the shutter bus. Within mins, the rain got heavier and good thing the shutter bus came in time. The rain as quite heavy by the time I reached my office building then went to the canteen to get breakfast.

Weekend passed very swiftly as usual. Got our broadband activated last Thursday and received the modem on Friday thru Web's house. I finally managed to have it installed and set up (with the help of technical support from Singnet coz the CD dun work on Windows Vista, how nice!) the broadband. The usb cable dun even work on Windows Vista thus I was not able to set up wireless yet as we lacked one network cable. Anyway, we really enjoyed the fast speed!!

Finally managed to head down to Ikea Tampines on Saturday and got what we wanted. We spend barely 2 hrs there and took a cab home. On the way, realised that the Ikea shutter bus was in operation again after the service was removed in Jul 07. I guess someone must have feedbacked so they reinstated back. Anyway, the taxi fare was less than $7 so not so bad, considering we have quite abit to carry. At least next time we can take the shutter bus there, which hopefully wun be removed again.

Took a rest after we were back and started to clean the house. Decided to do it on Saturday this time in case we were too tired on Sunday. The cleaning was quite fast this time, maybe coz we have gotten used to it. Took a break then prepared to go dinner at Kovan. Got stuff from NTUC again, seems like a weekly routine now and got myself a pair of speakers for my laptop. The sound from the laptop really cannot make it as its quite piercing to the ears.

Had brunch at the coffeeshop few blocks away, lazed around watching TV and youtube online and cooked dinner b4 heading home. Will be back today as bro is helping me to drive some stuff over and had to pray as its the last day of the lunar 7th month. Packed some stuff to be brought over last nite and went to bed almost ard 1am!

Its about 3 weeks to my wedding, exact is 19 days (thanks to Xris for helping me to keep track! She was telling me she's getting excited but I dun really feel so hahaha. Probably I got lots more stuff to do (selecting photos, scanning photos, looking for songs, planning the day's events etc.) than just be a pretty bride!.

Mum already helped me to give out some invitations last nite at my uncle's birthday celebration dinner and I should be sending out to my frens via mail tomorrow and giving out to colleagues from Wed. More or less managed to settle the seating arrangements for the wedding dinner months back but need to make amendments here and there as some people cannot make it.

Actually through my wedding, I more or less know who are my true frens, who will attend no matter how bz they are, at least they will make an effort. Some replied me saying will be away or planning holiday or business trips and could not attend so somehow will feel abit of disappointment. Actually I am ok coz I guess everyone got their own committments and not obliged to come anyway but it only shows how much I matters to them. Perhaps I do not have that much "ren yuan" afterall. However, its still nice to hear some frens will even come uninvited or will sure come with my invitations.

My dad was saying he dun like to invites frens or not so close neighbours coz he dun wan them to spend unneccesarily on our own wedding events. I do agree with him, especially when some people dun really like to be invited as well (coz means pocket big hole) but sometimes, they are people or frens which we want them to share our joy. If these frens does not matter to us, we cun be bothered as well. But I guess reality hurts la, people whom matters to you, may not feel the same towards us. Just accept it lor...

I have to call my BS today to check on my KUA and alterations for my gowns by today coz kept delaying as quite bz or 4got to call. The problem is I am more free in the mornings but they dun open until 12pm, by then I would be quite occupied and will 4get easily. Actually this is the most bz month for myself and Web, the wedding seems to be at a wrong timing but think we can still tide over la.

Saw that winter holiday packages for Korea are out so we should also be booking soon. Need to also plan a pre-wedding gathering cum mini housewarming for my sisters and helpers soon so that everything will go as planned on my wedding day and dinner.
