Food tasting

Finally had our food tasting at the restaurant last Friday, and the food was great! Hopefully the dishes will turn out ok on the wedding dinner itself coz they usually differ a bit if cooked in bulk. Will have to take a risk on the chef's skills! Anyway by then we would not be able to enjoy most of the food as we would be bz changing, go up on stage and taking pictures + toasting etc.

1. Fortune Lobster Salad & California rolls (changed to Crab roll for actual dinner)
2. Braised Shark's Fin with Conpoy & Crab Meat
3. Boiled Live Prawns with Boxthorn Fruits
4. Sauteed Fresh Scallops with Coral Clams & Vegetables in XO Sauce
5. Steamed Live Grouper
6. Stewed Sliced Abalone & Flower Mushrooms with Vegetables
7.
Roasted Crispy Chicken Specialty with Prawn Crackers
8. Braised Ee-Fu Noodles with Shimeji Mushrooms & Yellow Chives
9. Yam Paste

We also managed to finalise some details on that day but will be going down again to confirm more details and do some testing/ rehearsal about 2 weeks b4.
