What a coincidence!

Met early as we need to go to the temples at Brighthill Road. Done some praying b4 visiting Web's maternal grandparents' tablets and urns. There were quite a lot of people still although the actual Ching Ming festival was yesterday.

We then took a direct bus (no. 52) to Jurong East. The bus stopped behind IMM and quite convenient. We saw a furniture showroom just opposite and decided to take a look b4 going to IMM. The furnitures there were actually nicer than what Courts has and of better quality, which some may cost abit more, otherwise prices are quite reasonable. Will still check out other places 1st b4 ordering the main furnitures as we are still early. But will still try to buy b4 July, to avoid the GST increase :P

Started going to 2 Interior Designer firms in IMM after getting some drinks (really hot day!). The 1st one we went to, the guy was sort of too lor soh and emphasized too much on himself (like how he quote, do his work and planning etc.). He did not even ask us what we wanted or have in mind and starting rattling non-stop and even wanted us to commit. We said we will discuss and consider b4 giving him a call.

We then went to the 2nd one and was served by a lady. She was quite nice and her approach was different as she had to find out what kind of work we need on the house, our budget and preference etc. b4 she can quote for us. As she will need some time to work out, we made an appointment to go down again next Friday to discuss more.

Feeling quite hungry, decided to drop by Kopitiam for dinner and guess what, saw my parents in the distance!! I was telling Web earlier that mum mentioned they might got IMM but not confirmed, depending on whether my dad tired or not. I quickly ran towards them and they were surprised to see me. They were also planning to have dinner there so we ate together b4 parting our ways. They had intended to go to the 3rd floor food court (Bagus) but the lift somehow only stopped on the 2nd floor so they decided to go Kopitiam instead. What a coincidence!!

We walked abit and realised nothing much to shop so walked back to the Jurong East Central and settled down at the Ice Skating rink again b4 heading home by mrt.
