Headache day again...

Went Chinatown with sis last evening after work. She needs to buy some beads and was there after she knock off at 5pm while I took a bus down from office to meet her there. Waited for the bus for almost 15 mins and after I alighted, saw another bus behind... Is this what we get from fare increase? Hai...

We managed to buy some nice potato crackers from Yue Hwa, then walked down to the new Central. Nothing much there so we took a bus to Novena Square and had our dinner at Hans. While at the bus stop, I was still telling sis the platform was so high for people to step down so we made a longer walk to reach the bus stop pavement. Just minutes later, a gal came down from the platform and fell face down onto the pavement. I was too shocked to react coz thinking if I had gone down the platform like her, would I be the one falling face down... scary!! Although her fren was just beside, seemed that she got a shock too coz she waited for the gal who fell to stand up herself. Its definitely bad construction for a bus stop as not only the platform is too high, the pavement is sloping down as well. This explains why the gal who fell cannot control herself and fell face down, in slow motion somemore.

We took bus 124 and alighted one stop late coz thought it would not be so far It stopped somewhere beside TTSH and we had to walk quite a distance cutting through the road to TTSH and Novena Square. Haven't eat at Hans for ages and surprising the food turned out quite nice still. The lady who took my order was abit confused though but we got no other complaints.

Walked around the new Square 2 just behind Novena Square, a new extension linking to the new medical hub as well. Not all shops are opened yet but still quite a hanand they sort of adapt a Korean theme there. There were quite a no. of shoes shops there and some nice food outlets. Bought a VCD set from TS - "MVP Qing Ren". Although its a really old Taiwan series but had been wanting to watch it but ahd difficulty finding it initially and most of my colleagues do not have it even though I wanted to borrow. There was rental for the VCD at $11 for 18 days but only cost $25.50 to buy it so bought a set. Its an original taiwan set thus quite worth the price. Saw one DVD set at Poh Khim but its a china version and selling at $29.90! Dun quite wanna support China version so din buy it. Remembered I saw another china set sometime ago at $19.90 but cun recall where. Din buy at that time coz was still trying to see if anyone has it, more worth to borrow. So anyway since I bought already, anyone interested can borrow from me after I finish...

Went to sleep early last nite but cun really get to sleep. Maybe its too early than my usual sleeping time... Woke up with a headache again this morning and feeling so sleepy now. Wanted to stay home and rest but got a stupid meeting this afternoon and I am expected to be present even though it has nothing much to do with me. Might consider taking mc tomorrow if my headache persists...
