Went East Coast for cycling and we were happily half way through when it started to rain. We stopped by at the shelter when its started drizzling and the rain got heavier but stopped awhile later. We cycled on but reached a point when it was raining again. As we were halfway through, I had wanted to turn back and head towards the National Sailing Club for shelter but Web insisted we cycled ahead as there was a shelter there, although it was looking quite bad ahead.
True enough, it rained very heavily as we were almost all wet. I almost wanted to turn back but Web was already ahead of me so cycled on. I was actually quite pissed off and dun understand why he refused to turn back and had me drenched for nothing. Sometimes really dunno how a guy thinks. By the time we reached the shelter, I was feeling both pissed off and damn uncomfortable and grumbled that I did not bring extra clothing and why he must insist on going ahead. Not only were my tee wet, my bermudas were wet and damn dirty from the dirt. My sandals (birkenstock somemore!) were also wet and dirty, I just felt so %^&%#@*@%. The rain took quite a while this time to stop and this time I said we better head back when it sort of dropped to drizzling.
Luckily along the way, it din really downpour again and we returned the bicycles a few minutes early. Went to Mac's toilet to wash up abit and finally felt abit better after washing my face, feet and shoes. I refused to talk while walking back to Parkway Parade (PP) coz was just feeling so damn uncomfortable and pissed off with my tee stinks from the sweat and rain and my sandals wet.
It was until we reached PP that I finally bought another tee from OP to change that my mood gets better. By that time, my sandals had more or less dried up and I felt better. I am really not used to being wet and dirty so I cun help it. I hate it when I perspire too much, get drenched or dirty from any kind of stuff. I hope he learnt his lesson this time and better take better care of me in future. Else next time I wun be bothered with him if he chose to get wet or dirty, I will just go find my own shelter.
