Peggy's 1st fitting

Ya finally found my toto tickets, obviously din win. Was thinking cun be so lucky... anyway nice try :P

Took half day today and joined Peggy with bro and sis to try on her wedding and evening gown at Telok Ayer Street. She had went down to several studios b4 deciding on this one coz its the only one which could accommodate their shooting schedule (due to bro's flights timings). Really admire her in which she went to quite a no. of studios all by herself except this one which she went last week with sis.

Had lunch nearby and walked over to the bridal shop. The shop looked so so la, not as nice as what sis said in her blog. I had expected a much more impressive and bigger one but ok la, still manageable. The people are quite friendly though.

Took us about 3 hrs plus there while the consultant showed me some albums 1st as we waited for the room to be available after another couple left for outdoor shoots. She showed me almost 6 albums but there was none I like. Found that their photos are so-so only and not so artistic enough. No doubt they did shots in various places which you will not expect it to be in Singapore but the pictures were too "life". Erm... meaning too near to reality kind. Might just check out other studios b4 deciding as still got ample time.

Peggy then tried on almost 5 pieces of wedding gowns but found nothing she really liked. Switched over to trying several pieces of evening gowns but none caught her liking too so she decided to have MTM (made to measure) for her evening gown. The consultant then took out a last piece meant for evening wear but looked like a wedding gown instead. Peggy liked it and we found it nice too so she took it for her wedding gown. Its a bit pinkish and quite unique, away from the usual white or off-white colours for wedding gowns. Found that the gowns aren't that nice too, if I take the same studio, might just go for MTM gowns.

We finally left after a short chat after the consultants took their measurements and had some drinks and soft buns at the nearby teh tarik store at Far East Square. We then walked around b4 sending sis to her piano lessons at 7pm while we headed home.

Was so warm when I was home and rushed to shower b4 having dinner. Mum cooked fish soup and you know what, I had fish soup for lunch too, what a fishy day! Still having stomachache since this morning, dunno why. If tomorrow still same, need to see doctor again...
