Its TGIF!

Boss is finally on leave so went to work today feeling quite happy. In fact woke up quite early and had to wait a while for the 1st shutter bus at Bugis.

Not so bz in the morning except clearing some stuff as I was on mc yesterday. Its then lunch time when we arranged to treat one colleague lunch for her oncoming birthday (3 Dec 06). Meantime also a mini celebration coz boss not in... haha. 8 of us had lunch at Crystal Jade Macau and was damn full as we sort of ordered abit too much.

Its then shopping time! Need to get some gifts on behalf of my colleagues for the Xmas cheer thing. Only managed to find 3 items and she would have to find the rest over the weekends at Toys R Us. It was raining in between our lunch so had to wait for it to stop as I was the only one with an umbrella among 4 of us (the rest had gone back after the lunch).

Afternoon not so bz and totally no mood to work. Met a vendor around 3pm+ and dilly dally after that till knock off time. Walked to Suntec to meet Web and as I was still early, went in the Toys R Us to take a look and was totally quite amazed at the amount of toys they have. I cun remember the last time I went into this store, probably some time ago at the United Square branch. That branch was quite small compared to this one. Left the shop and while waiting at our meeting point, Web messaged me saying he would be abit late so I went on to the stationery shop to get some stuff for office use.

We had dinner at Billy Bombers at Marina Square and were quite surprised the service there is quite good. The food was good too la, except we were quite full coz the portions were quite big as usual. The manager on duty was surprising quite attentive too. We ordered Buffalo Wings and they were covered with sauces so he gave us quite abit of serviettes. After that, he even handed us a bowl of lemon ice water to rinse our fingers. A senior waiter also came over to make sure everything is ok and if there's anything that needs improvement. We simply got no bad comments and quite impressed with their service which is rarely found in Singapore anymore, especially at food outlets.

We then shopped around Marina Square then back to Suntec. Realised most of the shops are closing so we sat around and walked to take the shutter bus back to the City Hall mrt station.
