Very tough fight between the two teams ending up in penalties shots. Lehmann from Germany proved he's the best by saving 2 goals from Argentina. The results was however not quite well received by Argentina and a small fight broke up after the match. FIFA is taking action against these people. How weird when Argentina can fight till this far and lack sportsmanship.

A touching moment when Kahn (former Germany no. 1 goalkeeper,who was on reserve this time round) came forward to give Lehmann
support while Lehmann was trying to calm himself down before the
penalties start. Hearsay that both of them were not on good terms
and at the crucial moment, the ice was broken.
Italy Vs Ukraine

Did not watch this match as its at 3am. I was already in dreamland by then. Not surprised by the results as Ukraine obviously got no fight against Italy.
England Vs Portugal

Yet another game that sent both teams into extra time then penalties. England as usual lost during penalties. Portugal played quite roughly but they are just quite lucky after draw with England 0-0 at full and extra time but won at penalties. Robinson (goalkeeper) from England definitely have alot of training to do as he kept sprinting to the wrong side.
The dramatic side of the game was when Beckham suffered an ankle injury right into the second half and had to be substituted. Probably feeling the lost as he saw hie fellow teammates fought on while he may lose the chance to play in the next games due to his injury, he was wailing away right off the pitch. The latest news today was he had resigned from the England team.

Rooney was also sent off with a red card right after the second half. He kicked his opponent down and hitting his crotch on purpose and while the referee was deciding to give a yellow card, he pushed Ronaldo away and got a red card immediately. As usual he was throwing his temper like a kid. He well deserved it!
Brazil Vs France

Well, shocking results as Brazil is kicked out by France!! Did not watch the match of coz, but checked the results from the website on Sunday and shocked to see the results. France actually won Brazil, possibly coz Brazil's players are tired and France worked hard to get the results.
