Parents' medical appointments

My parents both had medical appointments at the same place (TTSH) at same time (10am)! That's why I had to take leave coz sis is on temp job cun really take leave but who knows, now sick have to take medical leave anyway. Brother happened to be out of town. Its a rare opportunity for me to take leave for a purpose and can rest as well.

We arrived at TTSH around 9.30am+ coz we managed to get a cab as soon as we were out. Took a queue no. for my mum and my dad waited a while before going for his appointment. Took almost 2 hrs with this and that (pre-surgery consultation and counselling) and when we were done, sat down for some snacks and drinks but dad hadn't come down. When we went up to look for him, its not even his turn yet. My god...just look at the no. of people at the eye clinic he went to, can faint. His waiting time was actually about 2.5hrs! This is how organised hospitals are. You pay so much yet wait so long...waste time!

It was raining quite heavily when we were at the hospital. Luckily the taxi queue had more taxis than potential passengers. Finally got home around 1pm.
