Counting down to Korea

3 more days to Korea! Not actually excited yet but at least can take a break from work. Anticipated will be a tiring trip but still a chance to get away together from our hectic work.

Went Chinatown earlier in the day after bringing myself and stuff home with Web. He managed to buy a pair of waterproof shoes to wear in Korea as I din manage to borrow a pair for him as I got mine from my colleague. Went to the winter wear shop at People's Park Complex but only managed to get ski gloves and headgear for him as he find the thermal wear too ex. I bought a pair of woolen colourful gloves, cun really keep warm but damn nice hahaha...

My colleague had offered to loan me her winter wear stuff so I dun have much to buy so managed to save quite abit. We have still yet to pack the stuff into the luggages but will probably do it tomorrow after the house cleaning.

Spent the whole nite after dinner compiling info for the Korea trip, as well as prepared currency exchange chart (to put in wallet) and check on weather in the cities we will be going in Korea.

Friday
Met up with sis and Xris for shopping and chill out. Surprising we were quite tired as there was nothing much to shop by 8pm so we went to Novena from Orchard to chill out at TCC. Chatted till they were closing then went home.

Stayed at mum's place for the nite and I then managed to find the winter stuff I need and packed them to bring back the next day. Was dead tired by the time I was done and while listening to sis playing her new keyboard, I actually fell asleep and snored! Not that her music was boring but guess I was too tired although I was still enjoying the music. More expensive keyboard really makes a difference...

Its 2008!

Its been almost 2 weeks plus since I last blogged. Time really flies, its 2008 already. 2007 seemed to pass by in a breeze. Still remembered we were looking for flats in Feb 07 and in no time, its almost a year ago!

Been very busy, really busy with my company's Annual Sales Conference on 4 Jan 08. I was as usual in the committee and got loads of stuff to do as the committee members got somewhat high expectations. We got a video done for our own division, acted by our own group of staff and I already spent quite abit of time co-ordinating the whole thing. Then we have our own group performance to take care of which I was also the main co-ordinator to get everyone and everything together. Eventually we din win the 1st prize but got 4th out of 5. Not too bad coz at least we were not the last. Realised that our mistake was language problem. Did 2 advertisement video clips in mandarin and din expect 4 of the judges were non-chinese and they could not understand what they were about.

Our team was dressed all in green (polo tees bought from props funds) as per our team colour.

The nite ended with me being really worn out as I was busy since 3pm+ when I reached the venue 1st with my colleague. Was quite fed up with alot of people coz they were so disorganised and passed me stuff last min. Anyway luckily I still managed to get by coz not so stupid.... hahaha....

I think I really need a break and glad that my tour to Korea is coming soon, departing next Tue nite. Hopefully will be a refresher to me and not get too tired. Have yet to plan my housewarming too and target to have it after chinese new year.
