Its going to be Xmas soon and the year 2007 will soon come to an end. This year seemed to move rather fast for me and hopefully I can find time to enjoy in 2008!
Just checked out from Hotel Miramar this afternoon. Finally managed to book for this weekend, making use of the complimentary hotel stay voucher which we got from our wedding banquet restaurant as its valid till end of this month only.
We got a Double Deluxe room and we were quite surprised that the room was actually quite spacious and nice. Took some pictures and will load probably later next week. We took a rest b4 making our way to the hotel gym and swimming pool. Din bring along track shoes so proceeded to swimming after lingering in the small gym for a while. It was drizzling by the time we started swimming but luckily it wasn't that heavy until we were leaving then came a downpour.
Wwere lazy to go out for dinner and since its still raining, we decided to have buffet at the cafe downstairs. It was a Xmas spread and price was ok, at $30++ per person. The food looked nice and I had almost 3 rounds of food b4 I got to desserts. Ya need to mention their soup (Chicken Herbal Soup) was superb and we both took about 6 bowls altogether!
Web had a call from his office earlier on b4 dinner as one of the servers got problem. He might have to go back to work at midnight but luckily due to a wrong delivery of the parts, his colleague went down to do a test instead. He was busy on the phone almost during the 1st half an hour of the dinner and I just kept myself entertained with the food. Wasn't quite hungry but surprised that I actually ate alot! It was until dessert time when I took ice cream then my stomach started to act funny. Cun help but went to the toilet to throw it up, luckily was just the ice cream part else it would have been a wasted dinner. Suspected that the ice cream was no good, coz I could see clots of milk after I threw up.
We then continued a while b4 going back to our room as Web continued to be bz with his work stuff and I kept myself entertained with my psp. After that I watched an old movie and finally dozed off to sleep at 2am+.
Din sleep quite well as the bed wasn't that comfy and the aircon was damn cold! Woke up with enough time to take a shower b4 checking out and we went to Central for lunch b4 making our way home.
Barely reaching home, Web's boss called again and wanted them at the office to do somemore testing. He then went back ard 2pm+ after placing our stuff at home while I stayed to do some housework. Web had wanted me to follow but since I cun go into his office and nothing much to do ard the area (at Bukit Panjang), he suggested I dun follow.
Managed to wash some clothes and hanged them and vacuumed abit. Was then bz with my facebook stuff until Web called as he was on the way home. The test cannot be done coz of some issues which his stupid boss din anticipate. Anyway his boss really sucks. Not much difference from mine as he is not only a bastard that pisses people off but also a super duper kiasu and kiasi person. All he knows is guard his own job and made people do all the unnecessary shit. Web was damn pissed off but no choice, have to ensure until he finds a new job. Was telling him if really cannot tahan, just leave 1st and find a job later, no point stressing ownself for such an idiotic boss.

1 month to Korea!
Had free tickets to "Alvin and the Chipmunks" at the GV Vivocity through the Xerox contest so left home ard 10am for breakfast at Burger King then took a train down. Shopped abit b4 going for thr show and quite enjoyed the show except for some idiotic kids at the row behind. They were either walking around and touching my head or crying away. Dun understand why these parents brought them along as at their age, dun think they know what they were watching.
Had lunch at Hong Lim b4 making our way to Fook Hai Building to check out the tour packages at Chan Brothers. Finally booked our Korea tour after considering factors like food and accommodation for the price. Already heard from friends that paying abit more, we get to stay in better hotels and eat better food, on top of having a good tour guide throughout. The tour we booked is already guaranteed departure and will have a Singapore tour guide with us. The departure date will be on 15 Jan 08 (Tuesday) and back to Singapore on 22 Jan (Tuesday).
After that we shopped at Chinatown and bought a standing steam iron which will aid in ironing clothes. Its similar to those standing steam types the retail shops use and will not harm any clothes. The same iron can also be used as a normal iron, dry cleaning and even facial steamer - unbelievable! It was retailed at $49.90, discount from the original price of $69.90 and seems quite worth it.
We then had dinner although I was not that hungry. After that we decided to buy our luggages since the taxi stand was quite empty. Got 2 big ones and sekali cannot fit into the boot of the taxi so had to place one on the front seat. Reached home barely 9pm so bathed and I started watching youtube clips on 萧敬腾, my new screen singer idol. He is really very powerful I tell you, got chance should watch him on youtube and experience it! He's quite shy in nature but really a very amateur good singer. Ok, back to youtube...

Not fun being a director!
As our company's ASC (Annual Sales Conference) is coming next Jan, we are doing a video clip for the event. This video clip will showcase our staff either in their fun side or what they are normally and we managed to find someone to do it for us at a very low cost!
This person is actually a friend of my colleague who does video clips out of interest and he agreed to help us, with the help of his friends who are in the professional video business. The filiming was scheduled on 5 Dec and having little time to prepare, he managed to come out with a storyline and my colleagues sort of amended from there. I was on mc the day b4 the filming thus wasn't in the discussion and was surprised how much they had done in one day!
The day started as early as 8.45am while we discussed about the proposed script 1st then followed by actual filming, until almost 4pm! It was tiring as I have to be around throughout, co-ordinating the staff and guide them around. However, it's really fun to see potential actors and actresses giving in their best, somewhat different from their usual self while at work. It was touching to see everyone so co-operative and cohesive and sure hope the video would turn out nice!
Well, its really no fun being a director as I was standing almost throughout the almost 7 hrs and was really tired after everything was over. I badly need a chair then so refused to leave my place after that. Anyway got loads of stuff to settle coz wasn't around for one day and already spent almost the whole day involved with the filming. Was feeling a fever coming as I was having a mild headache by then and busy sneezing away (after a short period of time under the rain while they were filming outdoors) but luckily was ok the next day.
Work has been extremely busy these days, especially during year end with people (my own dept) going on leave. Also busy with the logistics of the ASC 2008 which I am one of the committee members. I seemed to be very disoriented these days, dunno why, probably too stressed and I am trying to relax abit but end up loads of stuff got forgotten. Weird that I feel that time is always not enough now...
Finally went gym yesterday with Web, at his office's recreation club. I only had to pay $2 for entrance while for him is FOC. The environment was good coz not much people around. I had to take it easy coz dun want to end up aching all over since haven't been exercising for quite a while so only spent about 30 mins+ on the threadmill and cycle machine.
Stayed at home whole day today and not sure about dinner yet, as Web is sick again. Spent the last weekend at home too and managed to clean the house. Also vacuumed abit just now coz its damn dusty everywhere. The wind was pretty strong these days and the minute we opened the windows, all the dust and leaves came in. Clothes also cannot dry... gek sim!

Frustrated!
I realised alot of people around me are losing their patience recently. Maybe the weather is doing no good to them coz out of the blue, they will just lose their temper. Just like my sister, who only asked me a question which I dun quite understand and then she lost her patience and commented "its a chore talking to me in msn". Well, I dunno what's wrong with her, maybe PMS but she din realise she is just adding stress to my already very stressful life.
Things had not been easy for me since I moved out after my marriage about couple of months back. There are endless houswork stuff to do everynite, if not there will be some delays here and there and time is always not enough and by the time I go to bed, I am dead tired. Getting used to the new life is not easy for me and seems like some people around are not helping me at all.
I still have alot of things at home and takes time to slowly move. My sister has already "moved" into the room and rushing me to clear my things. Then I have the hubby at home to refrain me from moving more junks back, I dunno what to do. Clearing the stuff in my room is also not an easy task as most of the stuff are in the cupboards, and most of the time, they are blocked by other stuff which does not belong to me. I dun even sleep in the room when I go back now and obviously I have lesser chance of trying to tidy. I hate this and I also want to clear everything fast but sometimes things are just beyond my control.
The months spent preparing for the house and wedding had really tied me down and I am now officially pronounced too stress by the doctor and hope I dun suddenly fall down one day and die. Work is enough to keep me stressed out and people around me are not understanding my situation.
Everyone seems to be venting their anger and frustrations on me, who do I vent on?
